TES article - Woodberry Down opinion following national report about the teaching maths. Why would you pay one teacher £8000 to attend training in teaching maths + the cost of training when you could spend far, far less training every teacher in the school?
We started a new way of teaching every child maths in April 2008 after two days whole staff training. By June, Y6 were doing work like this.
